Support for Palestinian Political Prisoners in Israeli <\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Dear reader of this letter in Norway!<\/u><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Please have a focus on the situation of the Palestinian political prisoners in Israeli jails! They are arrested and detained on illegal grounds by an occupying power: The State of Israel.<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • The majority of Palestinian political prisoners are charged with offenses under Israeli military orders. <\/em><\/li>\n
    • Even Palestinians peacefully protesting the confiscation of their lands are subject to arrest and detention. <\/em><\/li>\n
    • The Israeli orders employ a broad definition of \u201csecurity\u201d, such that they ban, among other things, political expression.<\/em><\/li>\n
    • It is forbidden to conduct a protest march or meeting without permission from the Israeli military commander.\u201d <\/em><\/li>\n
    • The order prohibits the distribution of political articles and pictures with \u201cpolitical\u00bb content.<\/em><\/li>\n
    • Holding a Palestinian flag or listening to a national song is considered a \u201chostile action.\u201d<\/em><\/li>\n
    • Palestinian children are arrested and detained, some as young as 12 and 13. <\/em><\/li>\n
    • Children are routinely held in detention centers under appalling conditions.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Israel uses its power to arrest and detain as a means to control the Palestinian population and punish any political activity aimed at challenging Israel\u2019s occupation, thus violating basic human rights values and norms. <\/strong><\/p>\n

        • Struggling for Free Palestine.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            • The world should offer you thanks \u2013 you fighting for justice and peace!<\/em><\/li>\n
            • Palestine offers thanks to you \u2013 willing to offer your lives for your people and the homeland<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
